Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern package travel and activity bookings made with Albania Adventure Resort (AAR), referred to here as “the agency,” “we,” or “us.” They are based on Albanian law governing package travel, consumer protection, tourism services, and the Civil Code of the Republic of Albania. By booking an activity or trip with us, you accept these terms.

1. Our obligations to you

Our staff will explain our offers clearly and answer your questions during normal office hours before you book. We will inform you of any entry requirements relevant to your trip, and we strongly recommend arranging your own health and travel insurance before travelling — insurance is not included in the price of your package unless explicitly stated at booking.

We are responsible for the accuracy of the offers published on our website and in any brochures or materials we produce. We are not responsible for lost or damaged luggage during travel arrangements that are not organised by us.

2. Cancellations by the agency

We are not liable for cancellations caused by force majeure, natural events, civil unrest, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If a trip does not reach its minimum number of participants, we may cancel it, and we will notify you at least 15 days before the scheduled departure wherever possible.

If we cancel a confirmed booking, you may choose one of the following: a substitute trip of equivalent value, a lower-priced substitute with the difference refunded to you, or a full refund processed within 7 days.

3. Cancellations by you

If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, the following refund schedule applies, based on how much notice you give before the scheduled departure:

• 10 or more days before departure: full refund, minus any expenses we have already incurred on your behalf (including payment processing fees).
• 5–10 days before departure: refund of up to 50%, minus transfer and administrative costs.
• Fewer than 2 days before departure, or a no-show: no refund.

4. Prices and changes

The price advertised on our website or quoted by our office is the final price for your booking. If we need to make a significant change, or increase the price by more than 5%, we will notify you before departure; you may then accept the change or withdraw from the booking without penalty within 3 days of being notified.

We are not responsible for price changes caused by third parties — including partner hotels, taxes, or government requirements — that are outside our control.

5. Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of booking, or as a 50% deposit at booking with the remaining 50% due two days before the trip, depending on what is agreed at the time of booking.

We accept cash at our office, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and bank transfer. For online card payments, we cover the card processing commission; for card payments made in person at our office, the commission is paid by the customer.

6. Your obligations

When you book with us, you agree to: pay as agreed at booking; arrive on time at the agreed departure point; accurately report the number of participants in your group in advance; behave lawfully and with respect for guides, staff, other participants, and the local community; and arrange appropriate supervision for any minor travelling without both parents or legal guardians.

7. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint about your trip, please submit it to us in writing within 10 days of the trip ending. We will respond within 20 days. Wherever possible, we aim to resolve any dispute amicably and directly with you before pursuing any other course of action.
