About AAR
Albania Adventure Park — long known as Albanian Adventure Resort, AAR — is the tangible result of more than fifteen years of tourism development in the Skrapar & Përmet region through rafting.
AAR is a pilot initiative in adventure tourism: a public–private partnership between the Albanian Rafting Federation and Albania’s Ministry of Education and Sports. It’s an environment-friendly enterprise built to boost the local economy through tourism and a love of the outdoors — and to give adventure travellers a reason to discover a part of Albania few people see. The park is being built as a multi-sport centre, offering activities and education programmes for the development of sustainable tourism in Albania.
