Who we are
Fifteen years in the making.
Albania Adventure Park (long known as Albanian Adventure Resort, AAR) is the result of more than fifteen years of rafting-led tourism development around Skrapar and Përmet. Born as a pilot public–private partnership between the Albanian Rafting Federation and Albania’s Ministry of Education and Sports, we’re building a multi-sport adventure centre at the edge of the Osumi Canyons — training local guides, and giving travelers a reason to discover a part of Albania most people never see.

Where is Albania Adventure Park located?
Albania Adventure Park is based at the Osumi Canyons in Skrapar, Albania, about 500m from the canyons themselves. Our registered office is in Tirana, and most land-based trips are run from Berat.
Do I need previous experience to go rafting?
No. Rafting on the Osumi Canyons and the Vjosa River requires no previous experience or special skill — anyone in good health can take part, including children, under the guidance of our team.
When is the best time to visit?
It depends on the activity. The Vjosa River has enough flow to raft year-round. Canyon exploration trips run specifically from July through September. Hiking and the mule caravan up Mount Tomorr are weather-dependent, with the mountain often snow-covered in winter.
How much do activities cost?
Pricing varies by activity. Canyon exploration starts at 40€ per person, and the 2-day Mount Tomorr hike is 80€ per person including a discounted stay at Hotel Castle Park, Berat. Contact us for current pricing on rafting, hydrospeed and our other trips.
Who runs Albania Adventure Park?
AAR is a pilot initiative in adventure tourism and a public–private partnership between the Albanian Rafting Federation and Albania's Ministry of Education and Sports — built to boost the local economy through tourism after more than fifteen years of rafting-led development in the Skrapar and Përmet region.
Is accommodation included?
Our multi-day, land-based trips (hiking Mount Tomorr, the mule caravan, the eBike tour, the cooking class) are run from Hotel Castle Park in Berat, our accommodation partner — some include a discounted stay, noted on each activity page.
